| Why FI? I have a question for all the FI people. Why?Is it the 0-60 times? The 1/4 mile?Is it the ability to blow off that 5.0 Mustang? Why drop serious coin?I know for myself in that I want to do it my way and not the factory way.But then,I don't mod my clothes,I don't mod the movies I watch....but I do mod my Burger King, cause I want it my way. ![]() |

| Because all you have too do is take someone for a ride, and they too will instantly understand. Because wheel spin in 4th gear is insane! Because someone will undoubtedly ask you why you just plugged a laptop into your car. Because you have to explain the last one. Because people will gather when you open the hood. Because you can beat most of the cars that challenge you. ![]() Because people will worship the ground you drive on, you know who I'm talking about. Because there is always room for improvement. Because you can. And because of all the reasons above.

| :dito: The shear fun of knowing that you have over 400hp on tap. The look on others faces as you pass them in a race. Did i say 400hp with a push of the right pedal? The abitlity to put the car in another class to beat those 'Porcha' Why the hell not, its just money. Plus you get alot of hp with it to. |

| How right you are Josh. Never underestimate the "Porscha". For all the money that some people put into building these F/I BMW's they could've had a "Porscha" from the get go. When it all comes down to it though, its about individuality and having fun. Something that I think that all F/I BMW owners seem to take pride in and enjoy, which is what modifying is all about anyway! ![]() |

| Although my 328is is going to be an "all motor" car, I can also answer this ? I have owned 2 turbo SAAB's and I agree with most of those previous statements. 1. NO ONE expected my 2.0L 4 cyl SAAB to dust a GT Stang or hang w/ a T/A or Z Camaro 2. The feeling of being thrown in to your seat as the turbo spools RULES!!! 3. Hearing a turbo Spool and a HUGE BOV dump was musical. 4. AND you DEF. learn about your car, I like that some else said that too!!! BTW My last SAAB was Running 25psi on a Garret T3/4 setup, with 45psi FPR and 30# injectors, shielded intake, Full Exhaust, Suspension, Remapped ECU and Timing, European Body kit w/ Spoiler and all the guages inside you could need ~Phil
