Going to purchase an AA SC: need some input...

I found a really good job in Florida, and I am moving to Miami Thursday. I'm being paid 20 bucks an hr, and 30 overtime. Should make around 13 g's for two months. My question is this, I have a 95 M3 it has about 97+k miles, engine runs strong and is in good condition. I want the AA supercharger. I don't have any engine mods currently. I'm not sure if that really matters though, The AA Supercharger will work with a stock motor right? All I have is a remus exhaust. Also, about how much power would it throw down on the wheels with a stock motor? Thanks, I'm also contemplating using that money for a newer M3.

Tony, I say go for it.
If the compression is good on the engine, and the tuning is sound, and AA tuning is sound, you will have ZERO problems with the kit.

The only drawback to the kit is ,the boost level is not upgradeable. If you will be happy with 280-290 RWHP and 260-270 RWT , then you have found what you are looking for.

Good Luck and welcome to the world of FI, if you go that way.

Yes it will and you could also keep the remus exhaust.

shit, I thought it would push more power than that. Well you know I have heard that the technique turbo is pretty good and pushed well above 330 rwhp, I think I saw ///3oris with that in his sig and no mods to his engine except an AA exhaust. What do you guys think of that turbo set up?

Yeah, I've also contemplated going with a turbo set up, only thing that held me back was AA's price, lol, the technique turbo set up is about 6500+ right?

You heard the Technique tuning kit was good? The ONLY person that has one is Boris.

Remember GOOD is a relative term.

It needs to be installed, mostly under the car, warranty? longevity of the company selling it? Others who actually have one? software relaibility?
customer service?

Keep in mind, all the publicity for the kit is speculative at best. It is too new.
If you want to be a BETA user, I say go for it.

haha, I'll talk to him and see what's up, but most likely I may go with the AA supercharger, any other SC kits out on the market that will put 300+ rwhp for about 6500 and under?

I didn't want to be an RMS postwhore but now that you mention it

I can get you into an RMS stage 2 (aftercooled) setup for $6000 plus shipping.

How does 330-340 RWHP and 285-300 RWT sound?

Go boost bump to 11 lb, with bigger injectors and 3.5 Euro HFM for about $1000 more and 360-370 RWHP and 290-310 RWT.

Yessiree.

well I guess no one can give you a better feel for what it will work like here than me!!! (wow it feels cool to say that after having people like dado give input here...lol)...but anyways , I live in Miami and I have an AA supercharged car so I mean if you'd like id be more than happy to let you know what I feel about it and ill even run you if you'd like to get a general idea of the difference in power only thing is I have a 325...lol... it generally depends on where your looking to go with the car and how much power you want to put out... keep in mind boost is very addictive and when you have some, you want more... I wasn't exactly looking to have a complete monster especially since im more into car shows and such so the AA kit was perfect for me since I got an amazing deal on it and it filled my need exactly.... i haven't dynoed the car yet and I still have some more stuff I need to do but I am extremely pleased with the kit....I did quit a bit of research and what I really wanted was the twin screw however the price and wait time was a bit much for me....there's some one here that can really give you a lot of info on it and he was very helpful to me aswell his s/n is stimpee.... the only big thing with the AA kit too was that they're a huge company and the fact that there headquarters is just 10 minutes away so it was kinda like the safe choice... so if you'd like shoot me a PM and maybe we can meet up some time or I can duke it out with the people here that went otherwise.... lolol hope everything goes well and good luck.. if anything i know some awsome mechanics down here that wont rip u on the price of installation like AA will too
