Marco's car is harder to extract max performance out of. His setup is very peaky, much like a two-stroke engine. Gotta rev it to get anything significant but it goes like hell if driven properly. I've been racing two-strokes for years and couldn't beat his trap speed in his 1/8 mile test track so George I honestly feel you could not drive Marco's car any better than he.
With that having been said, I drove Boris's car the week it was completed(weeks before he even got to drive it!) It ran perfectly fine. One reason it was there for a month was simply because Nick was out of town for 2 weeks...I know this b/c I wanted to borrow it while he was gone but I was unsuccessful

The pull in each gear across the revs is similar to the instant you punch a stock M3 in 2nd gear at 3500rpm. A solid push in the seat and the car just pulls effortlessly. It is an easier setup to drive, with a little more potential for BIG #'s down the road.
Boris has a powerband that pulls longer(less hp but more tq) while Marco has 300lbs less weight and shorter gearing. I think these advantages cancel each other out, resulting in two cars that are very well matched. In short, Nick's very first attempt is impressively competitive with a benchmark vehicle. Either car can (and I dont doubt eventually will) manage to eek out 450whp on pump gas. Anything more than that I say go talk to Imported Cars and/or VP race fuels.
