I don't know how your tuning is set up, if it is dialed in yet or if it's all new and you will be tuning as you go. It is imperative that you break the motor in correctly the first time. If your too rich you'll wash the cylinders and end up with high cylinder leakdown. If your too lean you will have equally disappointing results. Running boost or not running boost is not going to make or break your setup. Just lower the boost and don't redline the motor. Keep it under 5000 rpm. Moderate loading of the motor is needed to seat your rings.
I recommend you go to a website of one of the leading ( Federal Mogul, Hastings, Total Seal, Deves,TRW,etc) piston ring manufacturers and read up on seating the rings etc. Most of the piston manufactures will have initial break in procedures as well.
The rest of the internals, assuming everything is right, is not as critical as seating the rings correctly the FIRST time. Be sure your (break in) sw calibration is correct.
