Power Options Advice please

I have a '95 325is 5 speed with 144,000 miles. My goal is 350rwhp, what turbo kits can make this reliably, what do I need to make this on the M50, can i even make this on the M50.. etc. So far I've considered M3 drivetrain swap, turbo M50, and supercharged M50, please give me advice to reach my goals. I'm not exactly sure as to the budget yet, but for now, reply as if I had no budget, and you could splurge a little. I've really only found 2 turbo kits for the 2.5 litre, the AA stage 1.5 and this TSI Extreme Kit

Please let me know what I should do as far as power goes, thanks in advance, Mike.

if you want a cheap turbo upgrade, i would probly go with the TSI kit, i was also looking at that one for my m3. if you really wanna save money, go custom and buy all the parts individually to try and save more money. that's what i'm planning to do for my car. but then again since my shit is not FI, i think the other members on this site can give you a better answer.

Money should not be an issue in your reply. I want 350rwhp, my question is, can the M50 make this? (assuming lower compression pistons, etc.) If it cannot, I have other plans that I will not discuss until they are done. ;-)

I would certainly think that between George, and myself, there is little doubt we can reach your goals, and still with the 2.5 if that is what you want to do. The fundamental question will be whether you want to open up, and freshen, the 2.5, or put that money toward a larger motor. The 2.5 WILL do it for sure, just everyone will probably tell you to "go for the bigger motor".

I just picked up a 1997 M3/4 yesterday, so I am going to "screw" that, and use it as my 3.2 car, while I plan to tweak my 2.5 car up to 350+ rwhp with the 2.5, just to do it. You are more than welcome to follow in my footsteps!!!

yes, I definately want to open up the engine and refreshen and upgrade everything. What internals would you guys recommend, as I would have the engine built by a friend of mine? What cams for the twin-screw application also? (assuming, 15psi? 20?) Stimpee, I sent you another email, don't know if you got it yet.
