Gas mileage with supercharger

Wanted to get a comparison of what others are getting for gas mileage. Have a 97 M3 with RMS stage II at 7 psi. In city 13 mpg, highway 19mpg. This in line with others with a similar setup?

These are overall numbers, don't know city or highway...

N/A: 18-20mpg
AA SC: 16-18mpg
TT Turbo: 20-25mpg

I usually drive hard (not necessarily beat on the car, but I have a heavy foot) as I don't care too much about gas mileage, but these are the results I found--they are approximations, I don't have EVERY one of my fillup records, but I do have many.

I have a '95 540i 4.4L with Dinan S/C and upgraded to Schatz&Krum stage2.I get 18 city/26 hwy and 9mpg when I drive "spirited".

I get around 20 city and highway, average.

It could be less when I LOSE CONTROL of my right foot. It can get as low as about 16 MPG average.

Yea... good one... alot of us have spastic right feet.. I know I do. My mileage just plain sucks... I do mostly driving around town.. you know. its got enough straight aways to burn up the gasoline, and plenty of stop and go as well.. but not much non stop 50 miles jaunts.. Which brings home a nice and SUCKY 15 - 17 mpg on average.. On those longer trips where half the tank is used on non stop thruway cruising, that number will get up to around 21 mpg

So does MPG increase on highway w/ a turbo? I never really measured mine but I notice on average (my computer tells me and the distance i travel per tank) about 27-28mpg on the highway after I turbocharged my e28.

Don't listen to your computer, chances are your tuning changed, you got larger injectors, or your fuel pressure is now different causing those numbers to be out of whack. The turbo increases gas milage considerably, unless ofcourse you have a habit of boosting lots... in that case, you obviously need lots of fuel. So if you're at constant WOT, you'll eat more gas, but overall, with as much WOT that I do.... I get better results than when I was N/A. If I baby the car and just drive all highway I can get well past 25mpg. So far the highest I've gotten was 27... and that wasn't all easy on the gas pedal either

Personally I don't care about gas milage... to me, if you have money to buy a luxury sports car and FI it... then don't bitch about gas--we have the cheapest gas anywhere anyway. Which is why I don't really care too much about gas, even though I pay over $30 for each fill-up. I decided a long time ago that I'd rather pay an extra $10/tank and enjoy it than save the money and drive a car like a stock Civic. Hey, if I wanted a civic with good gas milage.... I'd get a civic with good gas milage!

Oh, I'm not complaining about the added gas the turbo gave me btw
