| MY first ride as an AA Supercharged E36!!!! Well as the topic says today i officially got my car back from the shop. I had an AA supercharger and rear camber arms installed and words cant express the feeling i get when i let off the gas and ricers hear the car bloww of and almost fall out of their cars in awe... the car is absolutlly beautifull the kit works amazing and i honestly couldnt be happier with it...however i noticed that when i stop on a loight or something my oil temp. begins to raise past the middle line untill i start moving and than within seconds it drops back to where it is supposed to be. Is this a common problem with FI cars or is this do to something wrong with the installation...my mechanic informed me that i need to change my exhasut and upgrade to 3 inch piping. I have an AA gen 3 exhaust but other than that its all stock and he receommended that i ditch the AA and get something else. Could the oil temperature be due to the undersized piping or is this a normal thing with FI cars??? Your input is greatlly appreaciated ![]() |

| glad to hear you are enjoying the car. I would just like to recommend one thing, I would get rid of those camber arms. They are weak and can snap in half and it's not nice when they do because it will take you for a wild ride. Trust me, it happened to me. What oil temps are you getting? ![]()

| Dado, I just installed a set of the AA RCCA. Those arms have to be STRONGER than the crap arms that came on our car STOCK, NO? And since they are 3 pieces each, as long s the joint connected to the rearend housing stays put, changing the rod or ball joint end is a piece of cake. What did you put in your car for arms, after your breakage fiasco that was better than the AA's and certainly the stock? ![]() |

| Holy crap dado dude thats a crazy picture man... is that cuz u drive the car hard or cause its just an unreliable part?.. I dnt necisarilly drive to hard as most ppl especially on turns so do u think for dailly driving it would hold up? and btw the i corrected the problem with the oil temperature... I apologize cuz it was actually water temperature but the problem has been taken care of... my mechanic checked it out and i i had a bad hose on the car.... So its being reapired at the moment and i should have the car back in a few hours and im gonne let him drive it around since he has a turbo M3 he should be able to know more or less what it should run like....And lastlly im gonan see if i can post a couple pics of last night there was a meet in tropical park miami fl and i got to meet a bunch of new ppl and got to show off the car a little too so ill put up a couple pics for u guys too see...It was awsome my car drew quit a crowd ![]() |

| I've heard of lots of people snap the AA RCCA's... be careful, Marco. Personally, I bought a set of Rogue replicas... very tough. Keep in mind that the stock ones may not LOOK as weak, but they'll BEND before the snap. Also, the people that have snapped them didn't do the drifting abuse that Dado does. Boris

I didn't realize your a drifter. A young friend of mine started a website called drifting.com. You guys may already know about it. Just an FYI. Check it out. It would be great to see a drifting section here on DTM. Or do we already have one? Osh |

| senditorian I will post that video later this week. Boris is correct the stock do bend but turner motorsport sells a reinforcement kit for it. I replaced my camber arms with the ones from turner motorsport and they look a lot stronger. www.roadracetech.com also makes some good ones. Osh I been to that site several times, it's a very good site. I will post some videos of me drifting later on. I am actually drifting this Sunday but won't be in the bmw. Will be driving this car. ![]()

. I haven't had a chance to install these RCCA's, but looks like I'll be getting a 2.93 LSD, so I'll put in the RCCA's and the diff reinforcement in when I do the diff--hate to do the same job 3x. ![]() Take care, Boris P.S. Did you get my PM from almost a week ago?
