What is the best head gasket out????

I have a 99 M3 with an AA blower and need to replace the head gasket want something that will hold the blower plus nitrous. Please help me as I am currently in Germany and would like the parts when I get home to fix the car.
Thanks,
Damien

I think VAC is what George uses in his high powered beasts.

DITTO! The gasket is actually a MLS Cosmetic from VAC. It is sick! I got one last week. I haven't installed it yet but what it is made of & the machining is top notch! Best gasket out there! I got the thickest .140 muilti-layered. Sucker looks like it will withstand just about anything. It's at my house but I'll take a pic of it tonight & post it here.

Also my next question is which one should I go with. I want more power so thinking about going thinner but worried about detenation due to the supercharger. Planning on getting the car tuned rather then this BS AA tuning looking at doing aquamist too to cool the cylinder temps. Thanks

It's Cometic, not Cosmetic

I'll be getting the same one, Cameron

The VAC/Cometic HG is very nice...you wont have to worry about blowing it using the ARP head studs....but it will leak...to prevent this...it is a must to have the head machined for an MLS gaskets...I forget the amount of RA or microns it needs to be polished..but it will look almost mirror smooth when properly done. If George is using these gaskets..I would ask him ...the steps hes taken to get them to seal properly when running high boost.

I am not exactly running high boost yet I am running an AA supercharger but am currently looking at doing Aquamist and 100 shot of nitrous on it. So I guess that would make it high boost. What is gonna let go in this motor when it decides to let go??? What is the purpose of the ARP head bolts are the factorys stretch bolts?? Thanks for all the info

I don't understand where polishing your head is going to do anything better. That sounds strange to me

You do know that the AA S/C is maxed out as it is, right? IIRC you cannot get anymore boost from it without going to a different S/C.

Sure you can just spin it faster. Max rpm for it is 100,000. AA is spinning at 98,000. It will only see those speeds for a split second at redline. I have not done this yet not sure if I am still gonna need to with the Nitrous.
Thanks,
D

I called them yesterday to ask some basic questions> They were rude, insulting (making fun of me for doing my own work), and of no help at all. I would NEVER buy anything from them based on the customer service I recieved.
