I tried to run a riced out RX7 Turbo, he wouldn't run.

I was in L.A. yesterday, and I get next to this black super riced out RX-7 Turbo.

Dude driving it looks like a dumb ass from way back...he's all leaned back with the hook up and the bling bling, yo, holla if ya hear me.

I get right next to him and look at the front of the rice, and the shit is ALL ****ed up. There is nothing funnier than seeing rice with a body kit which is all busted up and hanging off.

I noticed a boost gauge...on the pillar. ****er wouldn't run...

oh well.

Has anyone raced you and beaten you yet? What sucks about having so much HP is that there are less and less fast cars to race

My thing is that I could easily be beaten. The fast cars never want to race me, I think they are above my childish BS. My car is NOT that fast.

RX-7s are pretty damn fast, 320 hp as you in the low 11s easily. Brad D's car is smoking, I've seen it action, but there are so many cars set up for the straightline that will kill the fastest BMWs. The track is a whole other story though.

Ah yes... reminds me of the time my friends convinced me to play with an RX-7 while driving my BMW on the highway. He beat me and my Valentine 1 went off like a Chinese New Year. I waved and he got pulled over by a state trooper. He got a nice "trophy" for that victory...

RX-7s will need about 500+hp to the wheels to get LOW 11's. You're talking about out accelerating a very light, 620hp McLaren F1. 320hp car weighing about 3000lb or slightly less will get low 13s, high twelves TOPS.

I tried to get a Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster to engage, but he wouldn't. Then I gunned it ahead of him, he played a little catch up, and then way ahead was the signal with stopped cars. No way anything would happen. Oh well, it's a new Lambo in the area, some Oral Surgeon. I'll get another shot hopefully, .

Rx7 manuals run mid 13's stock and high 13's as automatics. you are correct, they are NOWHERE near 11's stock.

LMAO!
he was probably just one of those guys that bought his car STRICTLY for image. i doubt he even knows how fast it really is? if i had an Rx i would be racing everyone from a roll. i took a ride in one, and it didn't have much torque...but im sure they are hwy predators.
and Brad, perhaps he was smart enough to know what a BOV is and that one on an M3 means trouble...but that may be giving him too much credit!

my info was based on a guy who absolutely loves them and currently owns 2. or shall i say my information was biased on him like i said, they don't seem to have much torque, so low 14's sounds very believeable. now those numbers are for the manuals i assume?any idea what the automatics run? thanks
