Can anybody tell me how safe is it to install nos on my car, Is it safe to do so with out the computer to control the nos

Where do you live?
I live in Turkey and we can do top speeds of over 200 mph at night time. We do not have speed regulations. I have supercharged my car and thought of adding NOS.
When you live in US you can not go as fast as 175 mph or 150 mph. So, you are not at the limits of your engine. Than it is safer than my case.
NOS can be installed very safely. Otherwise, you can dmage theengine seriously. What are the precautions to be taken? First of all, there has to be a fuel pressure safety switch. This swithc turns off NOS if the fuel pressure falls below a certain level. With unsufficient fuel you damage the pistons rings..
Moreover, there has be to a NOS bottle pressure gauge in the car to see if the pressure of NOS in the bottle is right or wrong? There has to be a heater or a blanket to keep NOS continuously at a predetermined temperature.
Your worst enemy would be a "LEAN MIXTURE". That is why some tuners add an extra injector.
As you add these safety measures the price of a NOS kit becomes more than a simple 500 USD NOS kit. Moreover, you can run with one bottle of NOS maximum 5 times 1/2 miles. That is all. Afterwards you have to refill and refill costs money. If you can calculate how many bottles of NOS per week you will consume and multiply that with 52 weeks and get an annual bill, you will invest in a supercharger

Thanks for your reply, i live in South Africa, We can do over 200mph here aswell, even though we have speed limits, Your car sounds pretty quick, what are your stats, My fri.
end has an m3 pushing 800bhp , turbo. I have A Cabriolet and want a little extra push now and then. I just needed to find out how safe it is, and if the computer is realy necessary.

sorry to ask you this but can you tell me what did your
friend did to his car to hit 800HP? Is it a euro mod or us?
cause I have two freind who have 500hp supra and every time
I see then,I always think,how can I make my car over 500hp.

I have a US 97M3 Dinan supercharge , 6" pully ,AA water&alco
injetion and a AA exhaust,right now I have about 340bhp and
trying to get up to 600hp.

wHAT HE DID EXACTLY I DONT KNOW, tHE FIGURES WHERE VERIFIED BY A INDEPENDANT LOCAL CAR MAGAZINE, i'LL TRY AND SEE IF THERE IS A SITE WHERE THE CAR FEATURES, THE CAR WAS BUILT FOR LANDSPEED RECORD IN sOUTH AFRICA, i THINK THE TURBO IS FROM THE US, AS TO THE SPECS I AM UNCLEAR. wATCH THIS SPACE
