Need help finding Fuel Pressure Regulator!

I was told to hook up my bypass valve (custom supercharger kit) to the fpr on my 328I, but i can't find it, this is my first bmw but i'm a pretty experianced mechanic, normally the fpr is on the fuel rail.

I am looking to get vacume/boost of of the fpr vacume line so the bypass valve will open only when i let off the gas or at idle.

i believe that mine is under the car... there is a panel just under the drivers floorboard that covers some fuel lines... if i am not mistaken thats where we had to bypass mine.
keep in mind mine is a 4cyl but i dont think the 6cyl FPR would be much different.

on 6 cylinder e36s 95 and above, the fpr is under the car, by the fuel filter. It is located as the above post describes.
