![]() And even for mustangs, the 5.0 guys know its a piece of shit....not heavy duty at all* No Mustang with a Powerdyne street kit is taken seriously at the track, lol...and i DO KNOW, I've turned more than my fair share of wrenches on modded-up, blown Mustangs & Camaros back in the day... The Vortech is head-and-shoulders a superior unit, thats elementary. Last edited by MKIVTurbo; 03-11-2004 at 11:21 AM.. |

| Powerdynes suk dude.. don't even start about how great they are... they rob the most HP.. produce the least boost and have the most lag over any unit in the industry.. Since we're no experts, here you can check a couple of review forums about them and see what people have to say.. here's one http://www.carreview.com/Forced,Indu...6_2877crx.aspx It's not a uncommon thing for a powerdyne unit to grenade fact of life.. diamond plate would need alot of love to make a nice looking blower mount..

Vortech makes a great product, as does Powerdyne and others. If you want to beat the crap out of your car, get a Vortech (it will eventually fail also). If you want more HP then stock, Zero SC whine and you take care of your car, a Powerdyne will work, and work very well at that. Bill P Last edited by Bad Bimr; 03-11-2004 at 06:26 PM.. |

| I agree, i haven't had even one small problem with my powerdyne, i bought it with alot of miles on it and have put many thousands of miles on it,it uses less hp than my vortech did, no oil lines, and i have been running it 4psi over what its designed to do. If i want more boost ill go with a vortech, but for under 12psi i love it. Also if the belt breaks its only $45 to fix, bearing kit $10, big deal!!! As for the diamond plate it looks just like a polished prefabed kit from a s/c company + some little diamond shapes, it doesn't even stand out at all, and i made the edges perfectly smooth, without much love at all. |

| I have a used 2000-3000 miles, Vortec T trim for sale. It has the kevlar reinforced belt, supercharger pulley, crank pulley and bracket.
