E46 M3 + 5.5psi =............................

Here are the dyno charts (mustang) for the E46 M3 with the Rotrex blower. The car is running 5.5psi with STOCK INTERNALS (compression has not been touched ). The car has over 100+ dyno runs and we even took it up to Sebring this weekend for Winterfest. For those that don't know Florida, that is about 180 miles from AA. We went with about 12 BMWs and I don't mean easy driving. Highway 27 was OWNED by AA this Saturday.

THESE ARE PRELIMINARY DYNO RUNS, FINAL TUNING IS NOT DONE YET!

Note: the RPM signal was a bit off on both vehicles.

BTW, don't worry, I will be posting DYNOJET results for all you skeptics out there

Sounds good
I believe I passed you guys near Clewiston (there was a Wal Mart with a big tent infront nearby) when we were heading to the Cavallino Classic. I was in a GMC Yukon Denali XL with exhaust (would have been in an F40, but my friend decided against taking it and took the Denali instead). We were going to come to Winterfest, but decided to go to the Cavallino instead (www.cavallino.com/classic.html).

Holy moley!! I was VERY skeptical in regards to FI on a e46 m3 since I was under the assumption that its engine is already built to preform at its maximum (also b/c of compression and timing). Making 330wrhp at 5.5psi is sounds awesome, though how do you think the engine will react to boost later down the road?

Congrats on becoming another owner of a force fed e46 m3. Tuning should ease out a few more ponys out of there too

Aren't the Rotrex superchargers normally fitted to 1.6-2.5L engines?

I think it's underspec'd for the S54 3.2L M3 engine.

Why thank you FYI, I've had 3 Rotrex compressors on my last car, and I've seen it applied to many others, including an M52 2.5L where it couldn't pump out enough air with the larger housing above 6000rpms. It topped out with 231 rwhp. It's currently switching over to a larger supercharger with larger boost to gain the extra power.

I've also used the Vortech, which I wasn't happy with since coming from Rotrex. I'm now using the ASA compressor, which I'm VERY happy with Best dyno result from my 1.9L was 247 rwhp. With all the development work that's been happening on the 1.9L M44, it's getting close to being redyno'd soon Aiming for 272 rwhp

Rotrex website says the SP30-94 is for 2.5 to 4.5L engines, man I hope so, just picked up a SP30-94!

Nice ... I assume the rev limiter is going to be around 7400 then from the way the dyno graph is. Have you thought about doing an enduro race with the car? I think that would be a great test, 12/24 hours of punishing laps?

Plus, can SMG take the abuse?

Are you guys adding water injection as well to increase timing?

I hope so too. I have a feeling that even with the SP30-94, it may not do. Check out the "Power output of 250-350BHP after supercharger installation". The S54 engine makes 343BHP running NA.

C 38

You guys did you not see that from the first picture it was a C38 that was shown compared to the smaller unit. ??

What are you guys reading

Raima how can you say isnt Rotex normally on smaller size motors of course like any brand they have different sizes and the tuner has to pick the correct size for the flow they need.
