turbo/supercharger for e34 question

Does anyone know where I can find a turbocharger or supercharger for a 1991 525iM? The car has tons of upgrades on it already (engine and full suspension) but I need to stop spending money on small engine upgrades that really don't do much. This car has the M50 motor without vanos. 1991 was the first year for the M50 and it wasn't till a year later that they added vanos. I can find superchargers for 525i from 92 or 93 and later (ie w/ vanos), but none for a 91. ANY help would be great. Maybe there are some smaller name turbo/supercharger producers I should look at. I know that you all might think it'd be better to just sell the car and buy a sports car if I want high performance, but I like the e34 and this car is unusually clean and well taken care of w/ low mileage. Plus the car is pretty quick, I burn my friend's new 530i auto every time. Thanks guys

Check out Schneller Motorsport, at www.machschnell.com They do e30 325i sc kits, 325e sc kits, 528e sc kits, and 535 sc kits. Ask them if they do a 525 kit, which they shopuld be able to do given the motor is also found on the 325i.

The 1991 525i was the first year of the M50 if I am not mistaken, not an M20.

Right, the 525i had the M50 starting in 91 and recieved vanos in 92. Therefore my car should be compatible with any engine parts from an early non vanos e36 325i. I checked out Schneller and it looks like they do have superchargers for early BMWs but still not for my model, thanks though.

Have you tried metric mechanics? Alot of people give them a bad rap, but there setups don't sound bad at all.
