Met a guy at the carwash today with a Supercharged S2k

Nice guy, had a banana yellow S2k, with the license plate BLONS2k.

Immediately knew it was supercharged. I talked to him for about 10 minutes while my car was getting waxed and detailed. He said he is running 6psi without an intercooler, and that the car runs low 13 second quarter miles. We talked for a few more minutes and I asked him what kinda torque he was putting out and he said 200 crank lb/ft of torque.

After a few more minutes of talking about compression ratios and stuff, I said, yeah with the gasoline and compression ratios the way they are, being that california gas sucks, I am only usually running 6.5 psi.

His eyes lit up..I had failed to mention that it was forced. He got a big kick out of looking inside the car and under the hood. He asked me what kind of torque I put out at the rear wheels and I told him that at 6.5psi it was around 310 or so.

Overall a very nice guy. Good talking with a Honda owner who actually only cares about performance rather than making his car rice.

I seriously doubt he could take me. He lacks almost 150lb/ft of torque.
Not only that, but he said his horsepower was 270 at the wheels. He lacks 20 wheel horsepower on me as well. Might be a good race though..who knows. I can't get traction in first or second gear so oh well.

Which leads to my next question..270 at the wheels with 6psi and no intercooler? Does this sound correct? I was thinking maybe 280-290 CRANK from that car, but not wheel horsepower...sounds a bit high for a supercharged s2k with no cooler.

with a comptech sc on it. the guy breaks axles so he raced me from a rolling start at 20mph...i was ahead by 2-3cars up to 100mph

This one was a comptech supercharger.

Sounds right... comptech superchargers are good for about 100 more HP at the crank (340).

I was watching vin diesel on access hollywood(nbc) race an nsx in his s2k supercharged with intercooler and the nsx killed him - but you can tell vin cant drive for s**t - Just an interesting little fact

A friend of mine rode off his S2K earlier today. He's currently hospitalized. *No comment on honda manufacturers*
