| Question about AA turbo on S52 M coupe I am thinking of doing this early next year and have some questions: 1) Does the AA software eliminate the cold start problem? 2) What RPM does the turbo kick in? 3) is it necessary to change the diff to aid driveability in first gear? 4) were there any other unforeseen parts that needed changing after the turbo installation? (clutch is a given!) 5) is the turbo/wastegate noisy? 6) finally - what kind of money is the 380 rwhp kit? (stage 2 I think?) Thanks! |

| I can answer some of these...not all though. 1) Not sure exactly what you mean. 2) Depends what stage, Stg. 1 around 3000, Stg. 2 3300, and Stg. 3 is about 3600 or so. Those are rough estimates. Really depends on what options you decide with the kit. 3) No, only if you are having traction problems which shouldn't be an issue until you are in the 500whp range. 4) If you send it down to AA, nothing. Otherwise, fuel pump, ignition, plasma coils, spark plugs, ummm....ill get back on that one. 5) Not at all when compared to your blower. The blow off valve makes noise when boost is built, but other than that no. 6) I am pretty sure its the same as the OBD-II kit. There is only one stage, and its identicle to the Stg. 2. Retail is 10K I believe. Wes
