| i used to have a '95 S14 and a '91 S13 coupe- my $.02- the KA24DE is perfect for drifting as delivered from the factory- plenty of torque. if yours is modified and you can't induce power oversteer, either your car needs a tune-up or you're not really trying. besides, if that's what you're up to, suspension is more important anyhow. do that first. & yeah... plenty of nissan forums out there http://www.zilvia.net/ http://www.freshalloy.com/ http://www.nissaninfiniticlub.net/

| oh, and are you turboing the KA? or getting an sr? regardless of motor, the greddy rspl is a great intercooler.....its what i have, and it does its job great....minimal pressure loss, and it doesnt increase lag that much. for turbo.....not too sure on teh KA, maybe a td06? and on the sr, it totally depends on what you want to do. a bigt28 i think is the greatest bang for the buck.....can produce just shy of 400hp, and still boosts by 3400rpm.

| Really depends on what boost I would be running. For the KA, a T04B is ideal. I have ridden in several, and boost is fabulous. Around town its great, keep it under 3k and your great, but at about 3500 your running your max boost and its nutz. The KA also produces so much torque that drifting is only limited by your imagination. I would run a Greddy Type S Wastegate with a 7psi spring, or possibly a Tial 38mm wastegate with the 7-12psi spring. More than 7psi on your stock KA internals is asking for trouble, but built you can easily hit well into the 20's. To give you an idea about the differences between the KA and SR, from a 30 kick, the KA running 7psi pulled about 3 car lengths on an SR running 14psi. On the highway it was worse. 150 comes in a flash, but you won't really know as the speedo clocks out a 120. The biggest problem with the KA is its torque in a straight line. Launch with boost, and spin the whole way, launch under boost and the engine bogs out. It kinda sucks, but I guess with the right wheel/tire/diff setup you can get more traction down. Here would be my list you were doing custom: *JE 8.5:1 piston *Pauter Rods *stock crank *NSport manifold *T04B turbo .60A/R Comp. and .82A/R exhaust *HKS wastegate *Greddy Type S BOV or Apexi TC BOV *Greddy RSPL intercooler kit, but you will need to do some custom fabrication to get it to fit right *Walbro 255lbh fuel pump *550+ CC injectors *3" downpipe into Apexi World Sport 4" exhaust *Blitz SBC Boost Controller *Blitz FATT turbo timer The most important upgrade in my opion is the brakes though. Before you half ass a job, get some good brakes like the Z32 or Silvia brakes(Same thing, but labeled different) and the J30 Limited Slip differential. The gearing in that will make getting the torque down better. Wes

| i have z32 brakes, and they dont do any improvement without the 1" master cylinder from a 300zx. but the rest of the setup sounds good.....i went with the SR because i'm iffy on turboing non-turboed cars. The sr also is setup for boost, it can handle 400hp and about 22psi on stock internals....the internals are all forged, and have oil piston squirters.....but your setup still sounds like it'll be a beast. you might want to go with bigger injectors, and a larger fuel rail....lemme know how it turns out.
