| Knowing what is involved in Stage II kit (500+ hp) in detail, if Dinan wants to do things right with safety measures taken, I have to assume it will be a lot more than 14500. Personally I wouldn't hold my candle over it unless I see it in person.
On the contrary of what's said here, after RMS finished their first production version of S54 SC kit, no E46M3s has reported problems as far as I know (and they aren't many out there and I know a few of them). They did have a lot of issues in the prototype and development phase though, which is basically the definition of R&D (I know this because my car was a prototype car).
It's true that RMS has had its fair share of customer service issues in the past, but if you have dealt with them recently, you will noticed that their operation has been changing for the better as *WhiteM32* has hoped. I just hope that they will keep up their effort in the future as well.
Anyways, *RichP*, you are right. $15k is a lot of money. But I doubt you will see any substantially cheaper kits in the future either. Even if you go with N/A upgrades, the gain will be minimal. Just look at how much Dinan S2 package for S54 costs. You will see what I mean (EXPENSIVE and very little power gain).
