The estimates for the kit are around $7k although Josh is trying to shoot for something lower. The production kits could be less.

| Roots-type! Thats cool. I'm just interested in seeing some pics. I bet that is a tight sqeeze and how does it feed into the manifold? I figured it was just a matter of time before someone did it though. Lots of other companies use it on other cars and its been getting plublicity being on the '03 Cobra.

| It no longer uses the stock manifold. It will be completely legal and pass emissions fine. The dyno was achieved on 91 octane. I don't understand what you're getting at with the 'Stickly built motor' question though. You will need different tuning. Are you thinking forged rods and pistons or a dropped CR to run more boost? The charger is capable of up to 25 psi. It's just a matter of octane, fuel, and building an engine that is capable of handling the boost.

| Wow, if the can really make this kit practical for mass marketing at a reasonable price/ installation costs...then I believe they'll have a home run with this one !! ...as of now, the only "real" options the masses in NA have for forced apiration in their M3 bimmers is a SERIOUSLY over priced Active Autowerks turbo kit or a host of "peaky" centrilfugal superchargers that don't really address the low end and mid range issues. ...this kit could very well be the best of both worlds, I was always an advocate of positive displacement blowers for the M3... ![]() ...is anyone here in direct communication with Eurosport, any contacts ?? I would love updates on performance and price and availability as they come out ! ![]() Last edited by MKIVTurbo : 11-10-2003 at 01:57 PM. |

I drove the car the other day. Check out the thread on bimmerforums (follow the link at the top of the page) I think my first impressions are on page 7.

...thats awesome bro... Again, please keep me updated on any/ALL new dyno's, be sure to keep note of conditions, boost, any other details as well when the respective dynos are made... And for that matter any other info you hear about anything else regarding the kit... ...glad to have someone on the "inside" here ! ...I would DEFINITELY shell out 7K if this kit can pump out an honest 350RWHP with no issues. ![]() |

| Update: (taken from bf.com thread) Pictures have been released. Supercharger kit will be CARB Certified. OBD1 kits to be released shortly after OBD2 Stock traction control TB can still be mounted. Throttle is in stock location. Water to air intercooler Heat exchanger mounted in front bumper. (a stealthy black) Fits existing Eurosport intake (3.5" w/euro HFM) from 3.2 cam kits. Software version for cars with the 3.2 cam system previously installed. Hope fully = more power.
