Ignition amplifier

We will boost 28-30 psi on the euro version E36 turbocharged M3.

In addition to that I also bought a 250 hp NX nitrous oxide kit.

Goal is to get over 1,000 hp on the street.

Did anyone install an ignition amplifier on a euro or US M3 E36 engine?

I remember seeing one under josh's hood, if he is the one with the black AA turbo m3 with 6-speed, showing at Bavarian auto sport show........

Josh is using HKS DLI Ignition System.

I have the MSD D164 ignition system

You can also go with plasma ignition coils in conjunction with either of the systems that Dado has mentioned.

How do you wire the MSD system?

On the euro M3 the igniters in the ECU. Where are they on your set up?

Do you just cut the wires going from the ECU to the coils and make a T?

BTW NX sent me the 375 rwhp kit. Lowest jetting is 150 rwhp

Could you explain please in more technical terms such as the energy and duration of the stock vs. aftermarket ignition systems?
