Help with clutch please

Right after I installed the ASA SKI supercharger kit for my 330i I started to experience some difficulties with my clutch. It felt as the clutch was bad and slipped. I could not even break rubber when lauching at 4K rpm with dsc off. After talking to a few people, I was advised to upgrade my clutch as the stock one could not handle the power.

Last week I puchased a UUC GEN II flywheel + SPEC stage III high performance clutch. The clutch is a 6 puk copper ceramic rated to 500 torque.

Well I picked up my car today and the guy that installed it told me to break in the clutch for 450 miles. I double checked with spec and they reccomend the same. So im on the highway, 5th gear 3500 rpm, I nail the gas and the clutch slips again. This time, it makes a weird vibration noise and then slips. So I tried this also in 2nd and 3rd gear. Same thing, 3 - 4k, nail the gas, vibration, clutch slips.

At this point im totally lost, I have no idea what could be wrong. There is no way that the clucth will not slip after the 450 miles.

Guys please help me out on this one.

Buy a clutch from SACHS. I had the same wonderful event when I bought a ASA kit. This means you get torque and hp.

Does this mean you also had a SPEC clutch?


The clutch is made from copper ceramic, I thought you only need to break in kevlar ones. Anyway, its not I did dropped the clutch. I didnt even launch. All I did was punh the gas when the car was already rolling. What happens is: I feel a weird vibration, then it slipps, this happend 3 times and I have not tried to duplicate the problem again.
