| I recently superchargerd my 97 328i, I am only running 6.5psi right now but i'm not sure if im making all the HP i should be??? I am using the vortech FMU for fuel pressure adjustments under boost, but i have found the car doesn't need it at all. I have a Air/Fuel meter and Boost gauge from autometer and i keep quite rich mixture all the way through the Rpms. With the FMU i get even more fuel and even less performance. My zero to 60 has decreased 1.2 seconds and quarter mile has dropped 1 second and gained 5mph, is this a decent improvement for the amount of boost, or is my computer not taking a likeing to the supercharger??? I have been researching OBD-II reprogramming hardware and i have been looking at OBD-II scanning software and have read that the car can go into a ??Closed loop mode?? under boost, i'm not sure what this is but was wondering if someone does? Any input on any of this would be great! Thanks, Maurice |

| You cannot decide by looking at the 1/4 mile accel and 0-62 mph. Go to a dyno. Get detailed info about the AFR , hp, torque figures. At Wide Open Throttle your ECU should not be taking care of the oxygen sensors. This means at cruing oxygen sensors work but at WOT they don't work. Best regards MERT
