Hey people,

I have searched the site and havent managed to come up with any answer to my question. I have lowered my suspension on my e36 328i, with eibach pro kit springs and koni yellow dampers. My lower control arm bushings are worn and need replacing, is it advisable to replace them with the offset bushings, or just stick with the centered bushings?

Thanks

I bought some angel eyes from the UKa few months ago, not cheap ones but the $100 ones. They worked great, up until now, two have gone dim, they are about 30-50% as bright as the other two.
Dim ones are the red circles:
/|OO|(||| |||)OO|\

Any ideas as to what the problem is and how to fix it? I hope I don't have to get new angel eyes, if I do I think I will get the LED ones as they are much more reliable.

Hunting Idle and CEL

Ok, so I posted up on bf.c as well but I havent gotten too many responses.

This only happens once the car starts to warm up. The CEL is 1221 for the O2 sensor or a vacuum leak. It has a new O2 sensor now and I found two vac. lines that were bad and I replaced them. They were the ones coming from the valve cover. I also replaced the clip that connects them to the valve cover. I just cleaned out my ICV last night but it didnt look too bad. I need to put it back in today. The idle starts to hunt once it gets warmed up and it will die if it sits at idle too long after its completely warmed up. The DME has gotten wet recently. It got wet last thur. and this started before that if I remember right. Any help would be great. Im thinkin its the MAF at this point, but I can disconnect the MAF sensor and it gets a lot worse. Im seriously runnin out of ideas here. PLEASE HELP! Thanks!

Central Locking and the Driver Door

Hi Guys,

its been a while. I have a quirky problem with my 318 tds se:
When I push the central locking button on the key fob, all the doors expet the drivers door lock. Same goes for unlocking,

However if I use the key in the door, and lock or unlock all the doors work correctly? Not sure why it is doing this and it just suddently started happening.

Also when locking the doors from inside the car, I can lock all doors from the drivers door, but then I can not unlock them from the driver door - I hace to unlock the doors using the passenger door lock.

Hope this makes sense and that some one can advise?

Thanks in advance,

car stalling when cold

My check engine light came on a couple days ago, and yesterday morning (it was cold here in Connecticut) I started it up, let it idle for 20 seconds like I normally do, and drove it down the street. As I came to the stop sign to enter the main road, I push the brake and the clutch in and the car stalls. But after restarting, driving a few miles, and repeating, its fine. Happened to me this morning too. But after it warms up, it seems to be fine. I took it to the stealership, they ran some checks and said my 02 sensors are fine and no air leaks. I replaced my spark plugs last Fall so I don't think thats the issue. Think its something electrical? Thanks for any ideas!

WASSUP people I know its been a long time but I've got a question not sure HERE WE GO BARE WITH ME OK, e36 obd1 is not restricted as far as air flow compared to the obd 2 thats why M 3 owners switch out there factory exhaust manifolds for ours whether it be 325 or M3 obd1, so we know obd1 is better (OK guys we know you obd2 guys got an aluminum engine) Any who that come down to preference now, I was wondering about headers This is what i know putting headers on a modded engine will defiantly yield positive results but what would be the improved effect on lowered compression engine with intake system besides improved grunt(sound) this is known ,........ and sum people speak of up to 9% in power and upwards to 6% in torque now this is realistic but need some experts insight or thoughts any help is much appreciated, keeping in mind The engine will be turbo-ed eventually but only to about 6psi just for fun. I guess I'm gonna hear about planning the stages and working from intake and building head and bottom:shocked: to MY question (headers or leave it stock) then on to track pipe inter coolers piping fuel management dadadadada................. I guess all I'm asking is should I leave the stock headers or go with aftermarket like something from TURNER OR AA OR even UUC and is it worth the money for this mod parts only , Man engines look so nice with nice headers as a compliment :hmm::werd: OH YEA ITS A 325IS 95 TOP CORNER
