Because he was a front runner that had to start at the back grid position. Passing slower cars is easy.

ya, that thing has the sequential manual gearbox w/ the straight cut gears(hence the loud whine) and I was thinking that was one of the years they ran the turbodiesel, but cna't remember, otherwise it's just one of the 2.0's, but I didn't think it was an s14 considering it's from around 97 or so IIRC

the car at the 2:40 mark is racing against me in the BMW club series. That thing is FAST, can't imagine something that makes it look soooo slow. And it doesn't sound horrible, that is automotive orchestra at its finest!
