| Premiere is good but definately not simple. I heard that Vegas is excellent and relatively user friendly so you can consider checking that out.      |

| I just got pinnacle studio 10 Plus... just got into some of the goodies - its pretty simple to use, has a lot of potential. Its the best IMO and I've used premiere and MIG videowave for some of my vids also. Get canopus procoder for compressing your raw footage

| I started out w/ Ulead VideoStudio & now use Pinnacle & some Adobe Premiere. Premiere has tons of cool stuff, but sometimes a bitch to work with. |

| It might not be a bad idea to try out the Avid software.
