| advice please Hey Just wondering if I could get some advice from you guys. I am looking for a video camera. I don't know much about them. But I think I want lots of optical zoom (that is usually the case with digi cameras) and I would like the sensor to be pretty good. I'd like night mode, and a hotshoe., and i'd like it to be under $1000AUD Is this possible, if so can I please have some advice. It basically just for an incar video of the M3 going around a track, and do document our holiday to europe. thanks guys Mitchell

| hotshoe is for extra accessories like a better mic, a better light, etc. Optical zoom isnt really good because it gets distored, so you want just a good zoom. Its generally all about the lenses, but for your price range a GL1 may be a good choice, it would be used though so I suggest buying in person or from a reputable place like bhphoto |
