| Short 350Z TT movie - in the mountains Yes finally after all my critiquing of the videos posted in this forum, I have churned out another video of my own. Scripted/Directed/Filmed/Edited is all me... so I have no escapegoat on the quality of the final result. Hope you enjoy http://www.forgedinternals.com/350so...finalshort.wmv ~52mb Last edited by HighTachPres : 02-28-2005 at 07:19 PM. |

| Very nice, I didn't see a difference between the first one you posted, but maybe because I wasn't paying much attention to detail. I really enjoyed the video. Was that your Impreza in the video? Also, one thing I wasn't a big fan was, the fact that the "spin out" was focused on the rear wheels. I think it should have focused on the front wheels, so the use of the e-brake to create the spin wasn't so obvious. Besides that, great work, I jsut wish I had sound to enjoy with this video. |

| Very nice editing and putting together of the video. Footage was good, not too exciting, but thats probably just me. Very nice car though, any idea how much $$$ he dropped into that car? P.S. I'm not dogging you, it was a good video

| Man I really liked this vid as well, all of the different camera angles was very nice. I liked how the beginning was done with focusing on different aspects of the car then flashing to the beat to another aspect, but I thought that part ran a little long. I agree with Compuvision02 about showing the rear wheel during the slide. Made it too obvious the e-brake was used, maybe hit e-brake then down shift to get the tires to light up, but maybe you were concerned with running into the mountain. Other than that awesome. What kind of camera mount was used for those rear quarter panel shots on the 350z? They looked extended a good deal from the car.

| Great, fantastic, amazing, awesome, astonishing... what moore?!?!?!??! Nos eriously - maybe one of the best editing, quality, vehicles i've ever seen on video... The differnce of your amazing edited clip and all the HUGH CRAZY SUPRAS you can download from kazaa and places around, is the you simpaly (I asume) produced it as holywood film! I donn't know how to explain it clearly, but I want you to understand, the I would pay everything I have in order to get such a fantastic camera (I don't know which camera you have used, but I can see the awesome qulity)! Those seconds in which you capture the shifting gears, and the sounds which come (pshoom... ouuuuuuuuuuuuu)... Ouu man - great vid!

| Thanks for the compliments, I love showing off my work and recieving feedback wheter it be good or bad. Hehe, the e-brake stunt was about the first thing everyone pointed out to me.... But i wasn't about to do a "natural" spin-out when a $70,000 350Z is literally inches away. I never thought of mounting the camera from the front for that shot, thanks Compu. The camera used was a run-o-the mill Sony TRV 330 miniDV or something, i don't have it on me at the moment so i'm not sure. I focused more on story, camera shots, and editing since the camera was the weakesst link The 350Z is putting out roughly 420rwhp for the video... but its under the knife right now to recieve a massive 600rwhp+ boost, and still be driven daily. And yep that's me in the Impreza ![]() |

| Good stuff, overall A. Different angles, I think the beginning was good, but could have been shortened to just the major aspects of the car(e.i. turbine's, wheels/brakes, maybe a couple interior pieces, or just the Pioneer AVIC-N1 which is fricking amazing). Other than that is was awesome. Rob, has a good point, even if the spin wasn't supposed to look "natural", if the camera were mounted on the front wheels, the viewer would have thought it was "natural". I liked it a lot, now I wan't to make some movies. Oh, that's right I have to have a camera to do that, right!
