1 series and m1 coming out?

I just heard from a friend that 1st series will be coming out soon and so will be M1. Is this true?

They want to make it 2200 Lbs and put a v8 from the current m5 in there...

I believe the 1 series is official but when? Who knows. As for a new M1 I think that was just a concept. Anybody with more info?

Not sure but if the 1 series is there "entry level" I doubt they would make an M1 simply because of the legendary M1 was not entry level.

The Current BMW V8 does not pass emssions as of next year I belive. This is one of the reasons why they took it out of the Z8. I havent read much into it. But BMW will not be using thisengine after the end of this model year I belive.
