Fitment issues to be aware of when swapping in an m20...

I'm gonna drop a m20 into my 02'. Was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks for this application.

Also, I'm having a hard time finding in-depth m20 -> 02' swap write up's. The one's I've read so far are pretty slim and very short of information. If anyone has links I would be greatly appreciative.

front radiator tin sheet metal will need adjustment. guy named dan made engine mounts... get them or be prepared to fabricate. It's a sporty upgrade. Finding that stupid 323i tranny is dumb

You could also use the 318 tranny from what I hear.

doubtful, the 318 tranny is smaller and ment for the 4cl M10 motor. I dont know if it even bolts up to a m20 or if it would last well mated to a m20.
