Im getting a front coilover setup from Ground Control. It includes modifying the strut housings to accept larger struts, Koni shocks and the GC springs and adjustable ride hieght perch. Also adjustable camber plates. For the rear Im going with Ireland Engineering's rear coilover setup.

I went with Ireland Engineerings full coilover kit. Fronts are on and rears are almost finished. I'll post pics soon.

How mush did the coilover kit run you vt?

About $1700.00 But that also incuded adjustable camber plates, shortened struts, extra -1 degree camber in the front struts, rear camber corrects, rear subframe mount inserts, and shipping.

Is there an alternative to this! I am not trying to go all out with the suspension. I just basically want a lower ride height and some stability on the streets.

Sure there is. Ireland has different springs that you can combine with Bilstein shocks. Im guessing $800.00 for the full setup but Im not sure. Check out their website.http://bmw2002.com

So didnt mine but unless you know they are relitively new, it would be a good idea to get some new ones. If they are still fairly new then all you need are some springs.
