| '76 2k2 I found a '76 '02 for sale and am wondering what I should have the person that is going to go look at it be sure to check out. I have bought used cars before and know the usual, and so do they, I am just wondering if there are any common things that should be checked for. I am including the ad below, let me know if you think the price is right for what is described in the ad. | First thing is that 76's are the slowest year car because they had the most emissions stuff... no 02 has 49k miles on it... the ODO rolls over to zero at 100k so don't believe it... look for rust.. strut towers... rear towers.. frame rails.. rocker pannels on sunroof cars... go here are serch the archives www.bmw2002faq.com/talkshop/forum/ Those guys know bmw 2002's. | For 1,500....sounds very good. If everything is still in working order, then it is a good buy. I know you could sell it for more than that, so you should definatley pick it up.
