| 2002 need new speakers Recently bought a 2002 and am looking at putting new speakers in. can anyone inform what size speakers i would be able to fit in the door and what i would have to do to fit 6.5" splits in them. Thanks |

| A better alternative would be to try a kick panel location to mount your components. With a custom enclosure, you avoid cutting while getting an optimum location in terms of imaging.

| Yah i dont really wanna cut the door panels. i was just thinking of making my own pods but not sure where to locate them at the front. do u think u would be able to fit 6" component pods at the feet of driver and passenger or am i dreamin if not any recomendations or if so any good article on how to make speaker pods |

| The other problem with mounting speakers in the door is running wires to the speakers. There aren't any places to run wires through without making new holes. Not that you couldn't do it, I plan to at some point, but something to keep in mind. Afterall, you can do anything you want if you set your mind to it and have the funds to back it! Seth |

| speakers under the seats (unless they are subs in proper enclosures) would sound like ass. When was the last time you went to a concert and the band was UNDER you?
