While it generates quite a bit more light onto the road, the "quad" headlight set-up can have plenty of problems. The primary one being electrical. Though you may be seeing more of the road it may not be for long as it kills your battery. "Dual" looks better, but I'd be real tempted to opt for more lighting.

The stock 45amp massive alternator has plenty of power though considering all that runs on that car at max electrical draw would be the heater fan, wipers, headlights, tail lights and ignition system... no fancy computers or AC systems or even a stock stereo were installed... they did have a dealer option stereo with one mono center channel speaker that pumped out about 5w... and if you need more power you can bolt a GM 90amp one wire on there with a little work on the bracket or you can bolt on a 320i alt for an extra 20 amps
