| 2002 Is there anywhere that is a good place to buy a baten to hell and back BMW 2002??? about 3 years back I saw a White 2002 with "Turbo" badging in some parking lot for sale, but it was way too much. For any help, thank you! P.S: I do know that the 2002 Turboes were Europe only cars.      |

| On the contrary, 2002 turbos are NOT Europe only cars. I have, infact, seen one at my ex-mechanics shop in Wilsonville, OR. It is an original not a replica. They are quite hard to find though which is why you may believe that they don't come here. Also, I'm not sure what you meant about the condition 2002 you are looking for. Just check out your local newspaper (that's where I found mine) or possibly autotrader. 2002's are going to be harder to find in the Midwest. I am originally from WI and I barely knew what one was until I moved to the West Coast. They are fairly commen out here, and many are in good shape (at least from a chasis/rust stand point). Maybe you'll have to buy out of state which hardly seems worth the hassle and cost given the value of the car. Hope that helps. Seth |

| you were right 2002 turbos are european cars only. there were none made here in the states but plenty can be found here now that have been imported. hell alone i think ther is like 50 in cali alone. the turbos were only made for 2 years in munich (1973-75) and they only came in a few colors. white, silver, and i think yellow. they say that they come stock with 170hp and they have speeds at excess of 140 mph if you ever get the mula to buy a 02 turbo you will be respected by car collecters around the world. they are one of the most saught for cars of all times... you should have jumped on that white one. i have a 76 that doesnt have an engine that you can have if you get to it first....i have other people that want it but i just need to get rid of it as soon as i can. it black and it doesnt have an engin, a windshield, or a dash board. thos are all of the things that i took off of it. lemme know cashuusa@aol.com inka2k2 later |
