Alvin can you take some pictures of that molded DTM airbox? Like of where it bolts upto the throttle bodies...maybe even throw a ruler in the pic to I can measure how far the bolt holes are...

I seen a 02 the other day in 'da hood as we say. And i wanted to shoot the driver, cause the motherfucker put 22 inch spinners on it....i cried when i seen it, It was like the car said "Crash Me". I felt sorry for that BMW, no BMW diserves to have ANY (X5's can however) rims bigger than 19 inches on it...especially spinners...

Yeah, no problem...I won't be able to take pics till I get a chance to run over to my parents house as that is where the car is at the moment. Once I do, i'll let you know and will post them. Talk to you then.

My brother might have already posted this for me but just in case here we go. Ive got a 1970 2002 with a full alpina widebody kit, custom candy orange paint, shaved trim, relocated exhaust, E30 m3 antenna, Rebuilt upper and lower motor, Over bored block, High compression heads with matching pistons, Schrick 292 degree cams, Ceramic coated Stahl headers, 2.25" exhaust piping with single resonator and magnaflow muffler, Dual 45 mm solex Carbs, 320i radiator, 320i 5 speed tranny, H&R sport springs, KYB shocks , 22 mm Front and 19 mm rear sway bars, full urethane bushings, AT Italia Alp 16x7.5" wheels, Dunlop Sp sport 9000's 320 i front brakes, Recaro's from a 320i Grant steering wheel, Momo shift knob, Alpine deck, Alpine 6x9's and 2 MTX 10's.

Can you clearify this. A old 2002 with 22" spinners ??

If I understood what you wrote correctly, I think you want to post that in a new thread for all to see. I'm not sure if this is what you were asking, but as for what years are best, I really don't know. They are pretty simple cars even compared to your E30. There was no one standout year as far as parts or niceties go. Do a google search or go to other forums and search around and shit, yo.

i just got my 2002 its a 69 with a blown bottom and fully rebuilt top .ive got a motor from a 76 that im going to put in it. im going to swap heads as soon as ibuild the 72 head. i cant wait to get it running.
