| I never got around to taking some pics but here are the most recent pics with some info. ![]() I got the car when I was 15 a couple months before I got my license so i had the car for 5 years now. I never really appreciated it much till I got my M3. Parts were cheaper, easier to work on, and a bit more nimble. I made most of the body kit and did all the body work myself except for painting. Now the bodywork is falling apart. This summer Im going to try to do something about that if I can find the time. The car came a far distance from the way it was when I got it, but I still have a long way to go. These are my mods for now. ![]() Suspension: Front adjustible coilovers 350/300 springs Bilstein sports all around ST sway bars Top End tower bars with rear relocation kit. Brakes: IR Front BBK vented 320i brake booster Engine: Boerd and stroked 92x88 Knife edged crank and stroked Teflon coated and forged porche pistons 3 angle port and polish 282 cam close to stock intake IR 3" collecter race headers to a 2 1/4 exhaust straight to an inaffective muffler, mostly for looks to shut my neighbors up. Body: Zender front fenders Schnitzer rears zender rear spoiler Homemade ground effects(fiberglass) OLD enkei wheels ![]() ETC Former automatic, now with 320 5 speed 3.91 320 LSD Recaro SPG Momo competition steering wheel The thing I thinking about now is my intake. Not sure what to do. I have a supercharger but leaning toward twinside 45s. I going to getting a cam, rear discs, and maybe some race gear. My options as of now is pretty much up in the air.

| mmmm, interesting. read so much about the S14 swaps into them (god how popular is it?) but i was thinking of sticking with the M10, switching it to electronic injection, and turbo charging it. Id like to play around with an M10 and just see what they can produce (i build engines for a living), ive seen a few independant throttle body setups still using the M10 and it looks interesting. See the thing is, in our country, when a vehicle has reached 30 years of age you can register it as historic. It gives you pretty much free reign on what you want todo to a vehicle, and still have it road registered. I was thinking i would build a total track car out of a 2002 and still keep it road registered so i could drive it on the odd cruise and such with the club. I had a pretty well sorted E21 before that was mainly suited to the track, and i dont want todo that again, trying to drive it on the street every day was too much of a hassle. Id like to go out and build something fun to play with, ive got a bike for sheer speed, but id like something go kart like i can really play around with. Also it would give me an opportunity to start to learn the fine points of suspension setup, id like to get into motor racing, and i think it would give me a good platform. It was the kit that caught my eye though i was browsing the galleries and i saw it. So, from your post above i take it you built it yourself? did you use an existing kit and modify it to suit? or did you make another from a mold? It looks great from the front ![]()

| I would stick to the S14 over a M10 with a turbo. The S14 will be more reliable and for a turbo you will have to fabricate several parts. If you have any questions about either swap let me know! |
