So I bought a E9

I was on the market for a '95-'99 E36 M but my unlce gave me a good deal on this car I couldn't pass up. It's a black '73 3.0 CS. Mechanically it's all new I think he put close to 35k into it. I bought it for $8,500. The car handles great but doesn't really have any power(for today's standards, I used to drive a Z/28), my question is: has anyone seen or done a engine swap for a E9? Would the 3.2 M motor fit in there with little mods? I'm very happy about getting this car you don't see them everyday. I'll be sure to post pics of it when it gets into my hands in about three more weeks.

It's a purty one! It has the airdam and bumper, 3-peice 16in BBS's, and it's black. I should have it before x-mas hopefully. It's getting shipped from Hawaii.

that wud be mean as, do that to the standy motor, u could do it all old bma racing styles, except for the turbo, i wonder if anyone sells a kit that is based on the bmw 3.0 racing kit, that wud b cool

man, it should be a crime spoiling such a classic one with modern stuff. nowadays such a car isnt supposed to be used as an every-day-car. put it in your garage, keep its good condition and look out for a mid-90s M3 again instead of ruining that E9.
what do you think?
