Help with 07 335i Radio replacement Went to the dealership to get my broken radio fixed and they tell me it's not covered because they found some coins in it. So i asked how much...2K!, has any experts replaced the radio in these rides? From what i have read you have to use a code and program the thing for your ride? I ebayed some radios and found a couple for 200 range. ANyone have success with this or have experience on these radios and how i can get it replaced?

He update on this, I purchased a radio from ebay for 160 with shipping. Slipped it in and everything worked without problem. I tested bmw assist and was able to verify all information on the car and location. bluetooth was even programmed correctly. It even came with a free CD!. from my research you can purchase or find a third party code generator for your radio.

Thats good to hear that the radio works properly, I would research into the encodeing, I know that i've seen some weird stuff start down the road because the radio was never coded to the car. Just a thought.
