E90 316 Engine cc ??

Hi everyone;

I live in Turkey and we have E90 316's here.. I wanna ask you something for this issue.. We know that the 316's on E36 and E46 engine cm3 are different..

Ex : 1998-2001 316i - 1.9 L, 105 hp (77 kW)
2001-2005 316i - 1.8 L N42B18, 116 hp (87 kW)

Is there something like this in E90's 316? do you know ?

Given the short amount of time that the E90 has been available, I highly doubt there are different versions of the 1.6L motor.

We do not have anything smaller than a 325 here in the states, and I don't think we will see another 4-cylinder BMW produced for the US in the near future.

and on top of that the US spec 325 is actually a de-tuned 3.0L right?

Europe still has a real 2.5L

We have 1,6-1,8 because of the high amount of tax rates in Turkey..

E90 316i has the N45 motor which is a 1.6L (1596cc) 4cyl. Makes 85kW (115hp) at 6000rpm and 150Nm of torque at 4300rpm

I know those info but pls read the quetsion carefully.. I am asking an another thing..

He just answered your question. The e90 316i is actually a 1.6L, so no there are no 316i with 1.8L or 1.9L.
