330 - 335 upgrade

Any news on an upgrade package to go from a 330 engine to the bmw twin turbo kit used in the 335?

There is no such thing. They are completely different engines. They didn't just slap on turbos to the E90 330 engine.

The N52 (E90 330 engine) has a magnesium/aluminum block. The N54 (E90 335 engine) is all aluminum. And that's just for starters.

plus you wouldnt want that anyway. that engine should have more horsepower for how much displacement it has. just get a turbo and run about 10 PSI. there are plenty of aftermarket places for that.

Can't turbo the e90 yet. The DME is far to complex to decifer. A company has already tried it. Released 20 turbo kits and 20 e90 engines blew up because of lack of fuel to the engine. The DME keeps on resetting or "correcting" itself, basically overriding the programming for the turbo.

plus the E92 335 is not a valvetronic engine where the 330 is. they are 100% different. there is alot of different stuff in the 335 than the 330, we have a 335 at our school, and I will say it is an amazing car,very fast and fun to drive, but not many details have been released about it yet, besides repair procedures, but as far as specs and ETMs there really is not much. but I can tell you that the 335 should retail for about 41K. and off subject BMW just released on there site that the M5 will be available in a manual in the US for model year 2007. YYYYEEEESSSSS
