E90 BMW 3 Series... ugly??

Theyre not all that bad. My old man jus picked one up the other day, the back isnt all the nie but the front is pretty sick, speacily the angel eyes.

actually, I love the look of the e90. In the beginning I didn't like the tail lights, But now I find them good looking. The front attracts me. It is just the sude lines that doesn't look good.

Speaking as a previous owner of an e30 M3, e36 325is, e36 M3 and current owner of an e90 325i i have to say that the new 3 did take a while to grow on me (approx. 1 year).

I know this is comparing apples to oranges, but does anyone remember how they felt when the Jetta 3 was introduced? I for one was disgusted! I thought, how could VW lose those cool sharp lines? But you know what...a year later I grew to really appreciate the direction that VW was going.

I definitely appreciate the design approach of all the new BMW's. I think it is sheer genius to design a car that people hate at first and then grow to love. What's up with that? IMO the only true hiccup in the last few year's was Bangle's 7 series, which thankfully has been toned down.

All of you whine now, just like when the Bangle Butt 7 came out, and then you will see that the rest of the industry will follow and inmate it. I'm not saying that everyone will love this car, thats impossible.

You will always be able to find people that will not like a car, so I'm not sure if the OP is just looking for people to agree with him so he doesn't feel alone in his hatred. Obviously sales of the 3 serious should prove otherwise.

As for tail lights, its your call. I like the blacklines a lot more because they flow with the car's sharp side crease.

i think it looks beautiful, by far one of the best looking cars in it's class.. for those that are annoyed with the taillights, there are blacklines like the picture abouve.. you can blame BMWNA for that..

The front of the 4 door m3 is sourced from the coupe's. IMO one of the most gorgeous cars on the road. BMW e90, needs a rear facelift...add angels to the front and ud be jetting in ur Bimmer

E90's rock. I doubt BMW cares about the opinions of enthusiast who haven't purchased a new car from them in over a decade -- or never for that matter, only used.
