I really didnt like them, but it really grew on me. The rear does look alittle odd. I love the frot though.

IMO the new M5 is the meanest of the lot! even the 535i's are mean looking, they look like a sleeping beast when theyre parked

The e39 although i love the look, are kinda like a bussinessmans rich car, not a performance looking car... dont get me wrong the e39 is still my favorite!

yea the e90 looks like crap from the back im not gonna lie, as much as i am in love with BMWs this is depressing. But the enginearing on the other hand, is excellent. The car drives and performs extremly well. Also i cant wait to see if the new turbo engine in the 335i will be a flag ship for factory turbos, its supposed to be 3.0 liter v-6 with a turbo, i forgot how much horsepower but i think hi 200's low 300's. i cant wait.

i figured out why the back looks so bad, its not the lights, its the wheels. they need to be wider, if they are wider it will fill out the space left by the rear bumper, and even out the lights. have a look at one from behind some slightly wider wheels will make a lot of difference.

well thats what i think atleast.

The V8 powered E92 (new 3 series coupe designation) M3 is rumored to come out Spring/Summer 2007.

The E90 has grown on me. The tails, as mentioned, are my only real issue with the car.

I pretty much think all the new cars look good when they're moving. The effect is more pronounced at night. But they look like crap when they're parked~ which is unfortunate, because cars should look good in both instances (think Lambo Miura). New M5's look good/aggressive from about twenty feet away... then they seem to lose some of it's "badassness" as you get closer to it~ almost like it's trying too hard to look hardcore (like Tiburons). Just my $.02

I think E90's look awesome and are a bold step in the right direction. Can't wait until more people start modifying them

I like the new E90. At first I was skeptical because they looked wierd in pictures, but when I started seeing them on the roads I realized they're great looking cars. Chris Bangle is a pioneer. His designs are leading to changes other car manufacturers are making to their basic designs. As much as you might not like the guy, he is leading the way, which makes him a pioneer.

Oh and whoever said BMW is losing it's distinct look, open your eyes plz kthx. Look at other cars out there and say you've ever mistaken one for a BMW. Besides, BMWs have always had relatively plain styling. I mean they're sedans, not sports cars.

P.s. This happens with every new generation...
