the M never stood a chance - 16 cyl. Veyron which i think is turbocharged making 1,000 + Hp... ??? yep hard to beat. (but not impossible if any car can slay the veyron giant its the bimmer jus needs a little push)

I read in my last mag Autobild Sportcars here in Germany a good
report about the Bugatti and some competitors.
The Lambo Murcielago, Mercedes SLR, Ruf Rt12, Lingenfelter Corvette
and the Hennessey Viper.
The competition was to beat the time from the Bugatti
from 0-300km/h.

Bugatti 19.80sec
Viper 17.77sec.

That is power. The Viper has 1100BHP.

Yep, twin turbo v10, over 200mph is pretty easy for that car. In car and driver the Heffner performance GT1000 ford GT bested that even, though.

fuck the veyron. over-engineered, and speed obsessed. it needs 4 turbos, on top of 4 more cylinders than the llast speed record holder. boo!

The most interesting fact about the Veyron though imo is that, although it weighs over 2 tons, it still has very good handling, probably due to 4 wheel drive and insanely wide tires.

I cant tell if you are serious or not. If you are serious, it really makes no sense. It doesnt matter if it took 4 more cylinders and turbos, the other companies could have done the same. It is as simple as this... They didnt. Oppurtunity is never lost, someone always finds it.
