How do you change the E-brake handle on a e46 m3?

How do you change the E-brake handle on a e46 m3? I purches the AC Schnitzer aluminum brake handle and i can`t get it on , what do i do?

Pull of the leather boot, it just clips off. Then just yank on the handle...it will come off!

YEAH BUT THE PLACTIC PART IS LIEK STUCK TO THE MEDAL? ITS LIKE MELTED TO IT, HOW DO YOU TAKE THAT OFF?

yea mine looked like that too, but then i just starting twisting and pullin real hard and it just came off.....do you have any pics of what your talking about. I can send you a pic of mine off and then the new hamann one on if you want.

Just pull as hard as you can. i know its hard to believe that your not going to break anything but at the same time becareful. ive seen people knocking themselves out before.
