I noticed you were in Atlanta.... so where are these twisties? I just moved here, and I've had enough of the straight line speed on 285 and 400.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that happened on HWY 180 in Northern GA. For those who haven't been up to that area, you are truly missing out. Although you might want to get some driving skills, because there is no room for error.

Yep we were out on HWY 180 when the M3 Convrt. lost it. Tighest twisties I've ever seen. However, I think I prefer the Richard B. Russell Hwy. Much more predictable corners and none of the turns are decreasing radius. The speeds are much higher on Richard B. Russell than 180. I think it's safer too. Hey 328isRob or anyone else in atlanta drop me an email if you want some more info on the twisties... CHamilton@WatchHillCapital.com

Surviving

Correct me if im wrong but I beleive that new drop tops like the bmw z3 and maybe this conv, have a like retractable roll bar that pops out of the back of the seat and comes out above the head of the occupents, It almost shoots up in an instant of a second.

you can kinda see the two popup roll protection units in this pic,

So you're a great driver....

and the people following you trying to catch up...are not!
That's why I don't race other drivers. It's hard enough to
determine what your own capabilities are without having to be concerned with others driving abilities. There are unpredictable factors...other people. I've been in situations where I'm racing with myself..and all of a sudden someone's racing me...I just slow down and give them all the room they need to keep away from my car. It's too bad that they trashed what most of us could never afford. I was once just toying harmlessly with a Camaro..just dragging to like 60 mph on no intersection, divided highway. I kept seeing this raced out car behind us..then even though he wasn't in the race..decided to blow my doors off he passed me at about 100 then rear ended a car turning onto the road at about 20...It wasn't pretty and I felt guilty even though I wasn't racing him, I felt like if I wasn't there it wouldn't have happened. Don't get me wrong I love to race but an unskilled driver trying to keep up..or pass you just because he has a model that statistically should destroy you is a bad situation. You're also lucky that he didn't loose it close... in front of you.. after passing you out of control.

I think I need another go-kart,

Hank

Later on that day in some twisties a brand new 01 E46 M3 Convert. was behind me and ran off the road, lost control and the car flipped over a cliff. Ended upside down after taking out a few trees. Here are pics... Don't really feel like saying much more right now. I was pretty shaken up. Glad those guys are okay.

Oh yah.. Also had an integra spin out earlier in the day.. You can see where he lost it in (upthehill_800.jpg) he went off the cliff at the top of that picture where the two cars are parked.

That is the biggest lie I have ever heard. Who are you trying to fool?

Bro what the hell are you talking about? I saw a news article about the same crashes? Did you just copy and paste those pictures and make up a story about that? LOL

When I find the actual news article I'm gonna laugh in your face :/

Find the link crack e-o. I have about 30 more pictures from a digital camera that haven't been posted on the internet. Funny that I'm in 2 of the pictures that I posted links to. Also go check out AudiWorld. It was posted there twice by two other guys I went up there with. I challenge you to find the news article.

My buddy lives in the same area where that wreck was at. Also friends with that tow truck driver. He personally went to the tow co. shop a looked at the M3 himself. It's a small world ya know.
