Will E46 M3 19" wheels fit the E36?

I know someone that is selling some 19" rims off his E46 M3 and just wanted to know if they would fit my car.

the fronts will fit, but the rears aren't even close.

Thanks for the reply. I thought it would be cool if they would fit because i could probably get a good deal on them. Do the rear ones not fit because of how wide they are? Is there any way that i could get them to fit? So if the fronts fit does that mean the E46 has the same 5 bolt pattern as the E36?

yes all 5 lug bmws share the same bolt pattern. The rears won't fit because their offset is too low. They will stick outside the fender, you could fit them if you flared the rear fenders.

well couldnt you get replicas also that look exacly the same as the m3 rims but are made for e36 BMW's?

How much would it cost to flare the rear fenders and would it look normal?
