Unhappy E46 M3 Nitrous Kit

Anybody know which nitrous kit will be the best for my car ... Venom, Nos, Zex, etc. ?

well if you had to go with nitrous go with venom, they by far make the best nitrous kits i have seen. but personally i wouldn't put nitrous on that motor, its way to high strung as it is, unless you plan on putting some octane additives in the gas or mixing it with race fuel. otherwise you are going to detonate.

Zex doesnt work with Bimmers???

Thats funny, i have personally seen 2 bimmers with zex kits on them. Maybe I seen them before they had any problems with it being on their bimmers.

Is anyone aware of the reputation the S54 engines have?

I've already seen 1 guy in my town blew his engine with NOS, and another on the track with no mods.

From what I've heard about the S54, I'd definately stay away from Nitrous. Unless you are looking for a quick way to toast your engine. My friend tore his engine up in his '01 M3 convertible and it's stock! I'd stay away from the nitrous.

The only reason nitrous blows engines is because its installed and/or used improperly.
