| i believe it goes like this. the e46 m3 trunk spoiler fits about right to the e36 2 dr's. and the e39 m5 trunk spoiler fits about right to e36 4 dr's. No modification necessary, to install i think u use 3m double side tape, and that's it.

Magic M3, these are all the pics I have, and they really don't show how it slightly hangs over the side of the trunk. If you have a sedan, the M5 spoiler will fit perfectly, as will the E46 M3 spoiler if you opt for it. ![]() ![]() |

| i think you can only use the M5 lip spoiler on e36s because its more flat compared to the E46 m3 spoiler. if you look closely the trunk on e46s has a rounded edge to them compared to the e36s. so the M5 is the only spoiler that will fit. |

| Yea, its really easy to fit on... You may want another person to assist you when you lay it on the trunk. The adhesive if you get the good one is really sticky, so once it touches it wont go anywhere, therefore, you want to get the right alignment the first time!! I think you can get the adhesive at the Bmw dealer, and if you have a coupe I would go m5 lip! also, it is somewhat flexible so make sure you get it on perfect the first time! |

| E39 M5 Lip Spoiler - E36 4Dr Sedan E46 M3 Lip Spoiler - E36 2Dr Coupe / Convertible The Part Number of the M5 Lip Spoiler is : P/N - 51717901594 ... they are really reasonably priced from the dealer so that is where I picked mine up ...The Part Number of the Adhesive Tape used on the M3/M5 to attach these lip spoilers is : P/N - 51710141495 ... This is excellent stuff, and it wont move when its put on, so get your bodyshop to do a good job of it ... Here are a couple of pictures, the only ones I have at the moment, however, they are on my 4 Door E36 Sedan, so they should give you a okay idea: http://members.optushome.com.au/mrozario/DSCN0013.JPG http://members.optushome.com.au/mrozario/CDscn0010.jpg http://members.optushome.com.au/mroz...8i%20-%209.jpg http://members.optushome.com.au/mroz...ve%20-%204.jpg Good Luck... ...
