they are out and have been out on convertibles and coupes.....you can also adapt the older e46's to that led style

Does anyone know how much the Adaptive LED Brake Lights cost and where we get them?

Roughly $300-350 per side and you get them from any BMW dealer.

That's like asking what's the point of changing wheels? Exhaust? Intake? Brakes? Body panels? See where I'm going with this?

The benefit that I see is that the LED rear lights are just that much brighter then the standard ones and work better in alerting someone behind you as to your intentions.

the whole job less than $500 if you call the right dealership, i think its cutter BMW.

I was thinking of getting them, my dealer (BMW of Bayside for you local New Yorkers) gave me a price of $230 something a side, but i'm concerned with the wiring. The new ones have a different number of pins on the wiring harness I believe. I know it can be done (we seen it), but its not a mod I really really have to have right now. Anybody got a easy remedy or part number for an easy out the box solution.

I was thinking that even with the proper harness for my car it wont plug into the LED tail or vice versa. tdc your great with pn's let me know if you get any specifics-thanks.

The harness is the same for coupe or convertible.
