Racing Dynamics 500hp E46 M3

Anyone heard about this? apparently its a transplanted M5 engine modded to 500 hp, does the quarter in low 12's, and sounds like one brutal machine.

Yeah I have seen it a few times on different forums...Its called something like the N500 engine or something?? I'll look around for the link...

yea, a guy on bimmerforums is building a E46 like that right now

yeah it cost like 100k new and not many will be made. but 100k for 500hp?? man u can get a Twin turbo corvette for that much or a little bit more and it makes 750hp 760ftlbs does low 11's on street tires and tops out at 220mph. theres alot more things out there better then that car im sure for that much.

^Yea, buts its senseless to make that argument. There always something thats gonna have better bang for the buck, but I think 100k is actually quite reasonable. Why by a Ferrari 360 when you can get a modified Supra that will probably be a lot faster. In my opinion 100k is a actually quite reasonalbe, considering your getting an incredibly rare BMW with a luxury interior and the speed to take on Vipers and 550's. It would definetly be something worth considering.

I hate it when people are comparing cars etc to how fast and the cost...You buy a car for what it is and if it happends to be a civic thats running 11's thats just wonderful but don't go out and say that its better than a porsche 911TT or something just because its faster....

Yeah there's kids at my school that have DSM's that will run with the viper gts...but ask them what they would rather have......my point exactly

It's called the R50 Tornado.. the N500 is the Nowack tuned M5.

Dont forget the N400 is the Nowack Tuned E 46 M3 supposedly making close to 400HP..
